Adult Workshops (13+)
From slim-arm side tables to two-day traditional rushed-chair workshops, our adult classes cover beginner woodworking through real furniture-making.
Our adult workshops are designed for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced makers looking to sharpen specific skills. Sample classes include the Slim Arm Side Table ($210), monthly Basic Upholstery sessions, the Versailles Mini, and our two-day Rushed Chair workshop using traditional caning techniques. Every class is small by design so you get hands-on time with the tools and one-on-one guidance from your instructor. You'll leave with a finished piece you built yourself — no prior experience required, just a willingness to try.

Kids & Youth Classes (8+)
Real tools, real projects, real pride. Our youth classes give kids the chance to build something they can actually use — and the confidence to make more.
Youth classes are tailored for ages 8 and up. Popular offerings include Kids Turn Pens ($85) where students turn their own pen on the lathe, the All Day Weaved Stool ($125), and the All Day Folding Table ($115). Every class is taught with safety as the top priority — we walk through every tool, every cut, and every joint before students touch the wood. Kids walk out with a finished piece, sawdust in their hair, and the kind of grin that only comes from making something with your own two hands.

Younger Makers (Ages 5–8)
Our Build-A-Story Workshop ($45) is a perfect first introduction for younger kids — a creative, screen-free hour of building, imagining, and making.
Designed for our youngest students, the Build-A-Story Workshop pairs simple woodworking with storytelling. Kids assemble a small project, decorate it, and use it as the centerpiece of a story they help create. It's a wonderful first introduction to working with their hands, building patience, and following a project from start to finish. Great as a one-off or as a stepping stone toward our 8+ classes.

After-School Programs
Weekly Working With Wood (ages 6–12) and Fused Glass (ages 6+) sessions that fit perfectly into the school-year schedule.
Our after-school programs run on a recurring weekly schedule and include Working With Wood for ages 6–12 ($135–$180 per session block) and Fused Glass for ages 6+ ($45 per drop-in). Each session is small and instructor-led, with a focus on building real skills over time. Drop-off and pick-up at the studio. Spots are limited and tend to fill quickly each semester — sign up early to reserve a place.

Birthday Parties & Group Events
Host a one-of-a-kind birthday party, scout outing, team-building event, or private group class in the studio. Everyone leaves with something they made.
Looking for a birthday party that's actually different? Our private group sessions can accommodate kids and adults alike, and every guest goes home with a finished project. We'll help you pick the right project for your group's age range and time window — popular choices include small stools, jewelry boxes, and turned pens. Summer Camps & Custom Projects
Week-long summer maker camps for kids and one-on-one custom project sessions for adults working through their own builds.
Summer at Studio Artisane means a full lineup of week-long maker camps for kids — woodworking, mixed-media, upcycling, and more. Camps fill early, so registration opens in late winter each year. Adults can also book one-on-one Custom Project sessions to work through a piece you're designing or repairing on your own. Bring your sketch, your salvaged piece, or your half-finished project, and we'll help you get unstuck. Studio gift cards available year-round.
